Decorative gemstones were set along the gold border frame.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eStage 2 – The Gold Relief Work:\u003c\/strong\u003e Using traditional gesso and 22-karat gold foil, we built up the three-dimensional relief work — the tower's crown, the decorative finials, the arched windows, and the ornamental lamp posts — each element raised and gilded by hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eStage 3 – Colour \u0026amp; Life:\u003c\/strong\u003e Rich colours were layered in — the deep terracotta red of the brick facade, the teal-green of the copper roofing, the luminous blue sky with soft clouds, the shimmering water body below, and the lush green trees framing the sides.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eStage 4 – The Final Masterpiece:\u003c\/strong\u003e The completed painting captures the full grandeur of Stockholm City Hall — the sky, the waterfront, the trees, the tower, every dome and spire — all rendered in the unmistakable opulence of Tanjore art with gold embellishments and precious stone borders.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe client was overjoyed.
